Well Not really. I just liked the Quotes he used in MGS4. Some Insane Quotes. And I have to say. He was a "WOW!" In MGS4 compared to MGS2.

I didn't see a problem with raiden in mgs2, only the fact that his suit a little bit to tight.

True. But first when I saw him, I thought that you might get to play with him for a little while and then go back to snake. But No he carried on till the end of the game. I suppose you get used to it.
